5. USE OF TRACKING PIXELS

Information about the attractiveness of our online offering is very important to us and helps us to continuously optimize our website. For this reason, we load tracking pixels (small graphics) on our website. When you open a page, the server loads and registers the pixel on your browser. This allows us to see which pages you have viewed, how often, which region you are from and what actions have been taken. Your IP address is recorded in abbreviated form, so that user identification is not possible under any circumstances. The identity of the visitor thus remains anonymous.

6. Retargeting in Remarketing:

This website uses processes that identify the website user and then target them with targeted advertisements on other websites (e.g. our website). Our goal is to inform our users, as much as possible, about the same or similar interests that interest them. Specifically, these are the processes described below.

6.1. Google Re/Marketing Services:

The provider uses the remarketing or “similar target groups” function of Google Inc. (“Google”) on the website. With this function, the provider can target website visitors with advertisements by showing the website visitor personalized advertisements based on their interests, even when they visit other advertising pages in the Google Display Network. Google uses cookies to analyze the use of websites, which is the basis for creating an offer tailored to the user’s interests. For this purpose, Google stores a small file with a numerical combination in the browsers of website visitors. This numerical combination records website visits and anonymized data on website usage. Personal data of website visitors is not stored. If you later visit another website in the Google Display Network, you will most likely be shown advertisements that take into account previously viewed products and your areas of interest. You can permanently prevent the use of cookies by following the link below and downloading and installing the plug-in on this page:

Alternatively, you can prevent the use of third-party cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative’s opt-out page at: http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and following the instructions on the same page. (Opt-out). More detailed information about Google Remarketing and Google’s data protection declaration can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=sl

6.2. Google Double Click Cookie:

This website also uses DoubleClick cookies as part of Google Analytics (see below), which enable your browser to be recognised when you visit other websites. The information generated by the cookies about your use of the website is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Your IP address will be shortened by activating IP anonymisation on this website before transmission within the territory of the Member States of the European Union and other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will we transmit your full IP address to a server in the USA and shorten it there. The anonymised IP address transmitted by Google Analytics from your browser will not be used together with other data.

Google will use this information to compile reports on your website activities and to offer you more services relating to website use. Google will also pass this information on to third parties if required to do so by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. You can disable Google cookies by opening the list of advertisements viewed. Alternatively, users can disable third-party cookies by visiting the Display Network cookie deactivation page. You can also disable the loading of cookies by setting your browser accordingly, but please note that in this case you will not be able to use the selected website to its full extent. Details on Google’s data protection can be found here.

6.3. Google Tag Manager:

In order to show you ads that are relevant to you, we use Google Tag Manager. The Tool Tag Manager is a cookie-free domain and does not collect personal data. This tool is used primarily to activate other tags that collect data from your site under certain conditions. If you have deactivated it at the domain or cookie level, this applies to all search tags (for example, “Google Adwords”, “Double Click” or “Google Analytics”).

If you do not want Google Marketing Services to collect this data, you can use Google’s settings and the option to deactivate the option: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated?hl=sl

6.4. Use of Google Adwords Conversion Tracking:

We use the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and conversion tracking within this framework. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis tool provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). If you click on an advertisement from Google, a conversion tracking cookie is placed on your computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and do not allow the user to be identified.

If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can determine that you clicked on an advertisement and were directed to this page. Each Google AdWords user receives a different cookie. This means that it is not possible to track user cookies on AdWords users’ websites.

We need the information we collect through conversion tracking to compile conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. This allows users to know the total number of users who clicked on their advertisement and were directed to a page containing the Conversion Tracking Tag. However, they do not contain information that could personally identify the user.

If you do not want your browsing to be tracked, you can prevent the use of this tool by disabling the loading of cookies by setting your browser accordingly (deactivation option). If you do this, your browsing will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. More detailed information on this and Google’s data protection declaration can be found at:

  • https://policies.google.com/privacy

6.5. Facebook Retargeting:

We also advertise for this website on the Facebook platform via Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA). For this purpose, Facebook places a cookie on visitors to our site, which uses an anonymized user ID and data about the pages visited to enable advertising that is relevant to your interests. As a Facebook user, you can deactivate retargeting cookies using the link below:

You can also set your browser to notify you when cookies are used, and you can decide for yourself which cookies you allow, or you can disable cookies in certain cases or even completely. If you do not allow cookies, the functionality of our website may be somewhat limited.

7. Use of analytical tools

On this site we use tools to perform various analyses in order to adapt our offerings and advertising to customer needs.

7.1. Google Analytics:

This website uses the service “Google Analytics”, provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to analyse website visits. The provider uses “cookies” – text files that are stored on your computer. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

On this website, your IP address is anonymised. The user’s IP address is shortened in EU member states and the European Economic Area. As a result of this shortening, your IP no longer represents personal data. Within the framework of a data processing agreement concluded by the website operators with Google Inc., the latter uses the collected information to evaluate the use of the website and the activities on it and to provide services related to internet use.

You can prevent the installation and storage of cookies on your computer by changing the appropriate settings in your browser. However, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to use all functions of the website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.

You can also prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being transmitted to and used by Google Inc. via a browser plug-in. The following link will take you to the corresponding plug-in:

You can find more detailed information about Google Inc.’s use of cookies at this link:

7.2. Hotjar:

This website uses Hotjar, an analysis tool from Hotjar Ltd. (“Hotjar”). (http://www.hotjar.com, 3 Lyons Range, 20 Bisazza Street, Sliema SLM 1640, Malta, Europe). With Hotjar, we can measure and evaluate the use of our website (clicks, mouse movements, scrolling up and down, etc.). The information about your visit to the website, which is generated on our website using the tracking code and cookies, will be transmitted in pseudonymized or anonymized form (we have configured these tools so that no personal data can be processed!) to a Hotjar server in Ireland and stored there. You can prevent the collection of data by Hotjar by clicking on the following link and continuing with the instructions.
https://www.hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out

8. Other tools

8.1. Use of videos (Youtube):

This website uses the YouTube integration function to display and play videos from the provider “YouTube”. For this, it uses the extended data protection mode, which, according to the provider, only stores user data when the video/s are played. If you start playing integrated YouTube videos, “YouTube” loads cookies that are used to collect information about user behavior. According to “YouTube”, these cookies are used, among other things, to allow YouTube to compile video viewing statistics and to make the offer more user-friendly, as well as to prevent malicious behavior.

Regardless of whether you play the uploaded videos, a connection to Google’s “Doubleclick” network is established each time you access this website, which may result in further data processing, which we have no control over. For more detailed information on the data protection of the provider “YouTube”, please refer to their data protection declaration at the following link:
